Had a morning invigilating exams and then headed off to Brechfa Forest for a MTB ride.

The sun was shining and it was a perfect day fo it, so I set up my GPS and headed off onto the trails, just me and my virutal training partner.

The trails had dried up even more than last week and were riding really well. The climbs at the beginning didn't feel half as bad as last time and I was soon ahead of my training partner. I kept up a steady pace, nothing too hard just a nice steady pace and enjoyed the sunshine on my back as I wound my way through the forest.

The extra muddy descent wasn't too bad today, and a little bit of familiarity made everything seem easy.

Before I knew it I was on the home stretch, playing on the tabletops then across the log balance and back towards the car park with a finish time of 1 hour 33 minutes.

A lovely ride and a lovely day for it.
